Two wonderful friends that's been with me since high school. The one in the middle I have known since I was in third grade. We practically grew up together since I came to the states.

Back in Chicago . . . .

It's rather hard to believe that after one month in California, I decided to drive through numerous states alone back to the windy city. I must say it was the hardest drive back to Chicago I had ever made. I realized that coming back was not glorifying at all. It was definite failure. I asked myself how many times have I failed people as well as myself? Too many to count.

Something stirred within me as I passed the border of Illinois. Was it regret? Perhaps it was since I haven't been the same since I arrived back here. There are things we cannot undo. Hands we cannot turn back. Time does not stop regardless of the mistakes that you have made. I've made plenty in my life but it finally occurred to me that this one was something I would never allow myself to forget.

To end on a happy note . . . here's a picture of Halloween in California.

Last night in Chicago . . .

Work was extremely hard today saying good-bye to all my co-workers. I've been with them for almost five years of my time with Allstate but this time around, it was a nice farewell. Some tears were shed but not too much. I can't get too emotional now.

Back at home now just trying to figure out what to bring and how to load everything in my car. I was surprised that I saw the first snowflake today. I didn't expect it at all but I guess it was Chicago trying to say its last good-bye to me.

I will miss all my girls and guys and please visit me when you all get a chance. I should be back in Jan. for a lovely reception so I'll see everyone then. Miss you all~  MUAH!!!!

West Coast packing~

Well, it's finally time to share the news of my departure from Chicago. I'll be leaving Chicago on Oct. 13 (yes, Friday the 13th!) to go to sunny side California. The trip is suppose to be 30 hours long. Yikes-o! But thankfully, my roomie in Cali will be coming down to Chi-town to join me for the long ride.

If you decide to ask me why I'm moving to Cali, my reasons are pretty unknown. Job, new opportunities, giving-it-a-try so to speak and other valid reasons. I can't say I'll love Cali since I've been out there several times already but in life, you have to take certain risks in order to make something out of yourself. Maybe this is one of them.

I will MISS everyone dearly. Some friends that I haven't seen in forever, some that I see here and there and some that I see pretty frequently. I'm very sad to leave Chicago and leave all my old friends, current friends and new friends behind but please know that I'm extremely good with keeping in touch with all of you since most of you know how long my e-mails are. I won't forget any of you and for those that know me pretty well, I don't say things just to say them. I say it only because I mean it.

If it so happens that things don't work out in Cali, then I did my best to seek the new opportunities out there. Of course by then, I'll be coming back to Chicago for good if that is the case. So thank you for all you guys that's been with me from before and now. I appreciate everything and I love every one of you. I'll miss you all!
